Untitled

[edit]

I moved this page to a title with correct capitalization... however I am going to guess that this is not an original work just because of how it is presented. Either way somethings needs to be done either with copyright considerations or wikifying. -gren

He says I insulted him :( ...that was not nice of me.

Paragraphing

[edit]

I broke it into paragraphs so it is at least in manageable chunks. It turns out when I went to edit mode that there were hard breaks in the text but they were single, which wikimedia software does not cause a paragraph break so it looks like one big mass.

Now we need to merge back together some of the paragraphs, and break some of them that I didn't break. THEN we can edit. RJFJR 22:21, Dec 24, 2004 (UTC)

[edit]

there exist the articles FLESSAS HISTORIC FAMILY and FLESSAS FAMILY which also have problems with title capitalization and unwikified blocks of text. (probably same submitter though I haven't checked to be sure.) RJFJR 22:30, Dec 24, 2004 (UTC)

removing

[edit]

He was given the name George after his grandfather who was killed by the Turks in 1777 during the Orloff revolution in Peloponnesos. RJFJR 06:52, Dec 31, 2004 (UTC)

Paragraph on two families with event that occurred after his death. RJFJR 06:52, Dec 31, 2004 (UTC)

names

[edit]

I corrected 'Gregorious', which includes a suffix that does not exist in Greek or in Latin, to 'Gregorios'. Please try to render Greek suffixes directly from Greek, there is no need to Latinize Greek names before you transliterate them for English use.

What do you call...?

[edit]

What is the term for a 'name' like Papaflessas which is more like a combined title and name? Papa is greek for priest so is Papaflessas like 'Father Flessas' in the Roman church? There ought to be a technical term for when someone is known by a title like this... RJFJR 06:56, Dec 31, 2004 (UTC)

POV?

[edit]

Is POV still disputed on this or can the POV tag be removed?RJFJR 04:30, Jan 7, 2005 (UTC)
