The sentence "Before IIWW belonged to Kreis Deutsch Krone, now polish town Walcz" was introduced in the article's second revision, and I can't make any sense of it, even after reading Kreis, Krone, and Walcz, and knowing that Deutsch is German for "German". Maybe there used to be a German kreis called Krone, and this town was a part of it? If so, what does the town of Walcz have to do with anything?

Deutsche Krone is the German name of the town of Wałcz. Until 1918 it was part of the Kreis Deutsch Krone, meaning the "County of Deutsch Krone". In 1918 (or rather 1922, to be exact) it was incorporated into powiat of Wałcz.

Also, the Wał Pomorski was (or rather is) one of the most important German lines of fortifications in the East. It was to defend the approaches towards Stettin and Western Pomerania.
