Slang term definition. Not encyclopedia material in my opinion. Sietse 12:50, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
I've withdrawn this nomination, because the improvements to the article show that it was possible to make it into something encyclopedic after all. Sietse 15:07, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
- Keep and hopefully expand. This fills a nice niche actually... it's more than common enough to be verifiable and have plenty of history behind it (106,000 Google hits for starters), yet not so universally-understood that it's hard to imagine looking it up. I'll see if I can expand it a bit. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 13:50, May 6, 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. Extremely notable stereotype, needs expansion. Samaritan 14:00, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. There's an interesting cultural history to the term, including recent Canada-USA relations. However, the article needs copyediting (entymology?) Mindmatrix 14:32, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
- Obviously, "entymology" is the section where I describe the connection between the word hoser and the tree creatures from Lord of the Rings. Ok, ok, it was actually just a typo I made in my rush to improve the article, and has since been corrected by Samaritan. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 15:03, May 6, 2005 (UTC)
- Starblind and I have been expanding it on the fly. To be fair to Sietse, this is the unrecognizably different version he nominated. Samaritan 14:40, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
