Area
[edit]I am confused about the area of the island. The official Thai statistics gives the area of the King Amphoe with 154.8 km² (this includes some minor islands). However Lonely Planet states a total area of 492 km² for Ko Chang alone. A little later in LP it says the National Park has 192 km² of land area, and 85% of the island belong to the NP - that'd mean about 226 km² for the complete island. Ko Samui (according to LP) has 247 km² or 228.7 km² (complete Amphoe), so depending on what number to use Ko Chang is second or third largest. andy 11:04, 10 May 2005 (UTC)
Needs some serious editing

Copy edit, January 2012
[edit]In copy editing this, I've ended up cutting the size by about half. If was written almost entirely as a tourist brochure (presumably the TAT copy mentioned above), and was full of duplications, puffery, and stuff that really wasn't relevant. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 22:08, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
