[edit]The death of Diodotus II is likely to have happened in 223/222 BC, since Strabon refers to it as being simultaneous with a conflict between the kings of Syria and Media. This should according to Jeffrey D Lerner (The Impact of Seleucid Decline on the Eastern Iranian Plateau) refer to the war between Antiochus IIIand the usurper Molon.
Rapist?
[edit]The term, rapist, at the beginning of this entry needs some explanation since it is such an unusual way to beginning an entry about an ancient ruler. I will wait 24 hours for comment/discussion before editing the entry.--Markisgreen (talk) 13:33, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
