Historical oversight
[edit]There are many indications pointing to the fact that, Bagheera as a character is very similar to Najib ad-Dawlah. Fjgdh5 (talk) 21:44, 13 April 2019 (UTC)\Fjgdh5 (talk)\\~
Bagheera
[edit]Bagheera is also the name of Kate's pet lion in John Brunner's The Shockwave Rider
In Hindi, leopard is "bagh", so Bagheera is supposedly female from the beginning.
That 'Other Uses' section at the bottom should be a disambiguation page... --65.13.33.65 20:17, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- in russian translated book Bagheera is female; it is sort of error, but her character is very popular. in USSR cartoon Mowgly her voice is L. Kasatkina, and she is so womanly) --85.140.196.52 (talk) 21:39, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- so is in Poland. When I saw Disney's movie, I was so confused and I thought they had changed the sex of the panther for the story purposes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 150.254.130.179 (talk) 08:23, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
Female Bagheera in some Italian Disney comics?
[edit]Mentioned in Media potrayals: "In some Disney comics drawn in Italy, Bagheera is depicted as a female non-anthropomorphic animal movie star, loosely based on her animated movie appearance. Originally all black, she has white body parts. She enjoys signing autographs to her fans and eating pistachio-flavored pet food, being vegetarian." It is true that Italian writers and artists made Bagheera a female in these italian stories? I'm trying to find these stories on INDUCKS and I found nothing about this female version of Bagheera. --Nectaria 12:53, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
