No fair user can deny that Avala has made many good contributions, but he doesn't stand a chance of gaining admin status-- at least now-- on the English Wikipedia. The nomination will just give his detractors more ground on which to personally attack him (just like what's happening to Nikola) and make it less likely for him to gain the community's support in the future. I suggest that you quietly remove the nomination and find common ground with users capable of working with yourself, Avala, and Nikola (and these users aren't going to be found on the nominations for admin page, but rather on the articles on which the three of you are capable of making valuable contributions). 172 10:27, 28 Jul 2004 (UTC)
