I live in New Zealand, and I have been living at Waiouru since 2002.

As a child I lived further down the Whangaehu River at Mangamahu and I was involved with the recovery of bodies from the Tangiwai disaster.

I am the webmaster of the New Zealand Folk Song website. For the past 15 years I have researched the origins of old New Zealand songs, and their associated histories.
