Locations
[edit]The songs on this double-disc album are all from tours between 2000-2002. It would be nice if the song listings also included the location where each of the songs was actually performed/recorded. Does anyone know where this information could be found? john factorial 23:32, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Source of "Comes a Time"
[edit]The original source of the text on this track was indeed Mario Savio's speech on the steps of the Sproul Hall [see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhFvZRT7Ds0], but the rendering of it on this album is certainly the version paraphrased by Utah Phillips on the track "Unless You Are Free" from his and DiFranco's collaborative record Fellow Workers. The text exactly matches Phillips' version but not Savio's (e.g. Phillips says "there comes a time", Savio originally said "there is a time", et al.), and it's unmistakably the same voice (Phillips' slight lisp) and intonation (unfortunately this track doesn't seem to be on YouTube for comparison purposes). tomasz. 00:16, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
