I thought that...
[edit]I'm a sophomore at Tombal High School, and I thought our deceased senior AP (short for Assistant Principal) died from liver cancer, not colon cancer. Our main principal told the entire school that he died from liver cancer.--70.240.240.229 (talk) 02:23, 20 July 2008 (UTC)Chris
Sourcing extracurricular activities
[edit]How am i supposed to obtain said sources? There isnt a "independent" agency that reports what activities a school hosts. Please explain why it natters if some info comes from school websites. Plenty of other local high school articles contain many more instances of info coming from a school/district website.
Im just trying to update old info and willing to learn what is necessary to update the page correctly.

- This is not the school's page on Wikipedia; instead it is an encyclopedia article about the school. By definition, an encyclopedia is a tertiary source. What that means in simplest terms is: We do not write about the school, we write about what is written about the school. The purpose is not to inform this school's community but to inform the world about what is important about this school. What is important is indicated by what others have written in reliable sources. I doubt the AV club has been or ever will be written up in a reliable source. School clubs have 0 import beyond the school's community, and very little import beyond the school walls.
