[edit]Hey, could you please revert vandalism properly when you do so? (Speaking of the Abyss Web Server article)--B44H 12:23, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
My Response: Well, I'm sorry if my first edit was not following procedure entirely. I thought it was safe to experiment by removing someone's insertion regarding the sexual preference of someone with no historic importance from an article about a web server, and thought that any positive contribution would be welcomed. Sarcastically, I would like to add that your note has been excellent in letting me know what these procedures are. A link to the proper rules would have been appropriate. If this 'revert vandalism' you speak of is a big enough deal to ask me to do it, it should not be too big of a deal to point me to this information. --Sheeo 12:49, 27 December 2005 (UTC) I mean, for christ's sakes, if I get harrassed for simply removing vandalism, what is a new user to expect for actually contributing something?
My late reply: I see the case, and I apologize for so blatantly marking you a vandalist when you were reverting vandalism yourself. However, there are guidelines on how to revert vandalism and I do suggest you should check those. --B44H 13:25, 7 August 2005 (UTC)
Oh, why does this have to be so cumbersome? Basically, in order to do anything here, I need to learn a whole new protocal, a new set of etiquettes and a text mark-up language, but at the same time there is no forgiveness for not being at the top of the learning curve instantly? --flhu
I quote myself: "I apologize". There sure is forgiveness :) Sorry for my late replying. --Sheeo 12:49, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
